ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Boys armed with knives stole trick-or-treat candy in two separate incidents, Anchorage police said.
A boy threatened a 14-year-old boy and took his candy in the parking lot of Chester Valley Elementary School about 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
A few miles north a group of four or five boys confronted a group of younger boys in the parking lot of the Ptarmigan Elementary school about 9:15 p.m.
The older boys cut open the bags carried by the younger boys and took the candy.
