Kenaitze Cuya Qyut'anen Head Start

Posted: Wednesday, November 03, 2004

Chuda Sasha will tell a Dena'ina story to the children Friday and Amber and Martina will teach Dena'ina songs and dances.

The children had a harvest party Friday. Many parents and older siblings attended the festivities, since the public schools had no classes that day. The children visited all three classrooms and participated in different activity centers.

The Raven-Eagle parent activity will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday in the family house.

"Raising A Thinking Child I Can Problem Solve" training continues every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. for parents.

The Head Start family Thanksgiving dinner will be Nov. 15 at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center.
