Congratulations to all the students for completing the first October Book It goal. November Book It goals for each grade level were sent home on Monday. Parents should call the office if there are questions about the November goals.
The following students are being recognized for exhibiting kindness to others and for doing a terrific job in school last week: second-grader, Sarah Pugh; first-grader, Athena Robinson; and kindergartner, Fionna Heath. The staff would like to thank them for being good friends.
Sharing this week included kindergartner Kayla McVeigh who used tools to demonstrated techniques used by scientists when excavating sites for skeletal remains; Athena Robinson and Taylor Krueger brought vitamin and medicine bottles and stressed the need for adult supervision; Jasmine Carter, Ellen Groseclose and Josiah Luze shared books on the human body; and Isabelle Luze wore a hard hat and shared about the importance of protecting the skull.
Thursday will be the last day for sharing. Show and tell will resume in January.
