Last week U.S. history students handed in their quarter final, which was a biography of a significant person in the student's life. By a large majority, students choose family members especially moms and dads or grandmas and grandpas for their biographies. Brothers and sisters were not left out, and neither were employers and teachers. Mr. Carey enjoyed reading the finals.

The school hosted the Region III swim meet last weekend with 12 teams from across the state attending. The swim team and coaches would like to thank the volunteers for their hard work and dedication to make the meet a success.

The volleyball team is off to regions in Homer starting Thursday.

The hockey team will play in the Peninsula Hockey Challenge against Soldotna High School at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, West Valley at 6:15 p.m. Friday and Houston at 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Skyview Hockey Booster Club is sponsoring its annual hockey bazaar from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. There will be a variety of arts, crafts and baked goods for sale.
