Representatives from Boys and Girls Club, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Army National Guard arrived at the school on a Blackhawk helicopter to meet with students and deliver an anti-drug message as part of Red Ribbon Week activities. Students got to sit in the helicopter and hear the drug message.
Central Emergency Services presented its fire prevention puppet show and classroom presentations last week. The staff and students would like to say thank you to Gary Hale and Gordon Orth of CES for coordinating these activities for the students.
Bruce Hudson was the box top winner this week.
Fun buck winners were Myah Smith, Amanda Hanley, Athena Glidewell, Gage Hodson, Hannah Pothast, Stephen Endsey, Malena MacMaster, Taylor Gilmore, Britt Fabunan, Austin Cunningham, Caroline Walker, Chris Alverson, Rachel Amos, Shara Redford and Timothy Price.
The staff would like to thank the parents who visited the school and met with teachers at parent-teacher conferences last week.
