Friday was the fall festival. The mechanical bull was a success. Hopefully it will return next year.

There will be no school Nov. 11 so students are reminded to start planning ahead academically.

Students in the Lower Learning Center has learned about the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars.

Jaycee McGee got extra credit for finding the dimensions of the city mentioned in Revelations 21:16. So far, he is the only one who got it.

The kindergarten class learned about the letters "R" and "G." They also learned the rest of the numbers in the "teen family." In history they are learning that they are Americans. The students are working on learning north, south, east and west directions. Mrs. Mathews is rewarding them for being good by having them decorate a lighthouse. The students also sang the lighthouse song that Mrs. Haines wrote for them.

The cleanest desk awards were given to Melissa Newton and Caden MacLellan.

Dates to remember:

Friday Volleyball game at the school; and

Saturday Junior varsity basketball teams will have the first game of the season in Anchorage.
