JUNEAU (AP) -- Fairbanks musher Christopher Knott wants his lost dog back.

Knott is asking for help in finding Lybra, a 45-pound dog lost in Juneau that has raced in the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race and the Yukon Quest.

Lybra, a blond Alaskan husky-hound mix with brown eyes, is about 4 years old and has a scar on her front leg.

Knott loaned Lybra to a friend for tours in Juneau over the summer, but the dog slipped her collar at the Juneau Airport in August, he said.

Knott said he just found out about it.
