Homeowners gather around an American Red Cross emergency response vehicle on hand to help in the Kenai Keys subdivision of Sterling Wednesday as flood waters completely cover a road into one section of homes.

The Red Cross dispensed coffee, hot cocoa and doughnuts and issued mops and cleanup kits to residents in flooded areas of the Kenai Peninsula. Also, hot meals were served to workers repairing washed out roads and bridges.
