Skyview students help make Halloween craft fair a success

Posted: Thursday, November 04, 2004

Every year Soldotna Community Schools and the Skyview National Honor Society team up to create a free "Make It and Take It" craft fair for children.

This year the craft fair had a Halloween theme. The Skyview NHS students, led by their awesome advisor Linda Raemaeker, planned wonderful Halloween crafts for the children. They had their share of tricks (turning plastic gloves, popcorn and candy corn into spooky hands) and they had their share of treats (decorating cookies, making lollipop ghosts, face painting, etc.). The children also made their own trick-or-treat bags, ghost hats and other spooky creations.

The Skyview NHS students worked hard to plan the crafts, set up the craft fair and help the children with their Halloween creations. A special thank you to the following Skyview NHS students for making the craft fair such a success:

Jamie Moore, Ariel McClain, Seth Waltemyer, Nick Byrne, Tyler Thornton, Noah King, Kelsey Shields, Emma Westerman, Jesse Kloote and Camile Eberline.

Thank you to everyone for your support and cooperation!
