Kenai council meets tonight
The Kenai City Council will meet tonight at 7 for its regular meeting.
Items on the agenda include an ordinance to establish standards for erecting wind turbines, and a resolution authorizing Mayor Pat Porter to sign a joint resolution with the Soldotna and borough mayors asking the Board of Fisheries to reconsider its decision not to meet on the peninsula in 2011.
Also on the agenda is new commission and committee assignments for council members, and a discussion of the city's dipnet fishery report.
