Macvie, Lance hold Renaissance wedding

Meagan Macvie and Gordon Lance were married Aug. 12, 2000, on Lower Summit Lake in Cooper Landing.

The bride is the daughter of Fred and Nancy Macvie of Kenai.

The groom is the son of David and Susie Lance of Silverdale, Wash.

Their attendant's were Felicia Jones of Soldotna, Jenny Knutson of Moscow, Idaho, Morgan Timblin of Seattle, Mike Macvie of San Marcos, Calif., Jared Lance of Reno, Nev., and Ros Lance and Kelly Tschida of Pullman, Wash.

Their wedding theme was Renaissance with the bride's dress patterned after the 14th century style in colors of taupe and beige with overall hand beading. The attendants were in rich gold and brown.

The reception, held at the lake, included fresh halibut and salmon, provided by Cotton Moore.

Meagan graduated from the first class at Skyview High School and received a degree in English from the University of Idaho in 1995. She currently is working as the visual communications coordinator for the State of Washington's Office of Financial Management in Olympia.

Gordon graduated from Port Clinton High School in Port Clinton, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Idaho with degrees in mechanical engineering and communications. He currently works in Olympia.
