Reed, Jackson wed in Oregon

Katrinna R. Reed and Lloyd Brent Jackson were joined in marriage on July 29, 2000, at Hyak Park in Corvallis, Ore., by Pastor Steve Stewart of Portland in a double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Charlotte Reed and Burt Reed Lacomb of Lebanon, Ore. The bride was given away by her father. She wore a waterfall white, strapless, floor-length gown with a double veil secured by a matching beaded barrette. The bouquet was filled with fresh purple and white mixed flowers handmade by Bobbye Swagerty, the groom's aunt.

The maid matron was the mother of the bride. The bridesmaids were Mary R. Jackson of Corvallis, Stacey Mueller of Portland, Toni Wittenfeld of Sumner, Wash., and Tabitha Helphinstine of Wichita Falls, Texas.

The groom is the son of Gary and Mary Jackson of Soldotna.

The best man was the father of the groom. The groomsmen were Tim Ray of Albuquerque, N.M., Scott Ferran of White Rock, N.M., Wes Hall of Farmington, N.M., and Troy Reed, brother of the bride, of Lebanon.

Alina and Brooke Ferguson were the flower girls and Alex and Zachary Ferguson were the ring bearers. The bride and groom's mothers were the candlelighters.

The reception took place at Hyak Park.

Katrinna is a 1993 graduate of Lebanon Union High School and a 1999 graduate of Oregon Health Science's University School of Dental Hygiene. She is currently employed at Veteran's Hospital as a dental hygienist in Portland, Ore.

Lloyd is a 1989 graduate of Soldotna High School, a 1997 graduate of University of New Mexico with a degree in biology and will graduate in 2001 from Oregon Health Science's University School of Dentistry. He is currently a senior at Oregon Health Science's University as a dental student.

Their honeymoon was taken to Dunn's River in Jamaica and they plan to build a home in New Mexico.
