Courtney DeMello and Ken White were married Oct. 8, 2000, in a 4 p.m. ceremony at Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
The bride is the daughter of Rocky and Lisa DeMello of Kenai. She wore a white, floor-length gown with a six-foot train and carried a bouquet of 20 burgundy roses.
The maid of honor was Elise DeMello. Tiffani Hooper was the bridesmaid. They wore a floor-length, burgundy velvet, sleeveless gowns and each carried a burgundy rose and baby's breath.
The groom is the son of Guy White and Diana White, both of Nikiski.
Best man was Josh Feltman, the groomsman was Aaron Turnage and the ushers were Zach and Adam DeMello.
The honeymoon was in Las Vegas, and the wedding song was "From this moment" by Shania Twain. A reception was held at the Nikiski Senior Center on Oct. 28.
Courtney is a 1996 graduate of Kenai Central High School and currently employed at Family Medical Clinic in Soldotna.
Ken was a graduate of Nikiski Middle-Senior High School in 1992 and is employed by Peak Oilfield.
The couple lives in Nikiski.
