AARP meeting planned

There will be a local chapter AARP meeting Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center. For more information, call Archie at 262-4512 or Joan at 262-5571.

Shots to be given

Pneumonia and flu shots for seniors and other high-risk people will be given Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Soldotna Senior Citizens Center. Pneumonia shots may be given if the recipient has not had one in the last six years and is in a high-risk category.

Wear a short-sleeved shirt. A donation of $10 is requested or bring a Medicare card to bill Medicare. For an appointment, contact the senior center at 262-2322.
