Quilters set to sew
A quit top-making workshop for females in the sixth grade to adults will be held Monday and Tuesday at Solid Rock Bible Camp.

Flu shots available
The Alaska Department of Public Health will hold a public flu shot clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday and 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the commons at Kenai Peninsula College. For more information, call 262-0330.
Swim team hopefuls set for plunge
The Peninsula Piranhas swim team will hold tryouts at 5 p.m. Monday at Kenai Central High School pool after its regular practice. Team practices are held Monday through Thursday.

Holiday workshop set to decorate
Hospice of the Central Peninsula will host a Cathleen Rolph for a coping with the holidays art workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, O'Neil Hall in Soldotna,
The workshop will follow negative thoughts, painful, fear-based emotions, stress, immune system dysfunction, time, illness or disease.
The workshop is designed to help participants release the negative thoughts and fears that can block the body's ability to heal emotionally and spiritually. For more information, call 262-0453.

Blood drive on tap
The Ninilchik School will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday in the library. Students ages 16 and 17 must have completed parental consent to forms. Forms are available at the office.

Auction, chili feed fund-raiser set to dish
Kalifornsky Beach Elementary school will host its annual auction and chili feed fund-raiser Thursday night at the school. The chili feed begins at 5:30 and the auction will begin at 6:30.
