Flu shots available

The Alaska Department of Public Health will hold a public flu shot clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the commons at Kenai Peninsula College. For more information, call 262-0330.

PFLAG meting slated

Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday. For more information and location, call 283-4678.

Swim lesson to make a splash

The Kenai Central High School swimming pool will offer swim lessons from 5:10 to 5:50 p.m. beginning Tuesday. Classes will meet Monday through Friday through Nov. 21. Children ages 3 and 4 are eligible. Registration is at the pool. For more information, call 283-7476.

Photo guild to meet

The Kenai Peninsula Photographers Guild will meet Tuesday at Soldotna Middle School to discuss copyright issues, photo pricing and to view members' work. The public is welcome and encouraged to bring photos or slides to share. For more information and meeting time, call Marianne at 398-0649.

Recycling group to gather again

The monthly meeting of Re-Group will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Kenai Peninsula College commons.

Multiple sclerosis group meeting set

A multiple sclerosis support group meeting will be held at noon Thursday in the Kiska Room of the Mundell Building (formerly the Soldotna Professional Pharmacy.) Lunch will be provided. For more information, call 2662-5030.

Blood drive slated

Soldotna High School will hold a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in the commons of the school. Students under 18 must have a parental consent form completed. Donors are reminded to bring photo identification, eat a meal and drink plenty of fluids. Donors will receive a shirt. Sterling bazaar fund-raiser set

The Sterling Senior Center will hold its annual arts and crafts bazaar from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the center at 34453 on the Sterling Highway, across from the Sterling weigh station.
