Woman hits fallen couch

NORTH POLE (AP) -- A North Pole woman was injured slightly Sunday when she hit a couch that fell out of a truck in front of her, according to Alaska State Troopers.

Shellie Severa, 40, of North Pole was treated at the scene for a slight injury to her head after her 1998 Ford Expedition hit the couch at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, according to troopers.

The couch caused about $500 in damage to Severa's Ford Expedition.

Raymond Ludwig, 27, of North Pole, was driving the truck.
