Generous donation warms hearts, bodies in Siberia

The SolFirst Siberia 2000 team would like to thank Fred Meyer for its donation. Manager Terry Rahlfs was very generous in giving us brand new sweaters that were distributed to needy people in Irkutsk, Siberia.

I wish everyone could have seen the excitement and heard the many heartfelt thanks for these warm gifts. Many of the people we gave them to said that they only had one piece of nice clothing.

We are so blessed on the Kenai to have "team players" like Terry and Fred Meyer. Thank you for helping to make the Siberia 2000 outreach very successful.

Primetime Reading Program offers fun, food for thought

We wanted to thank the Kenai Community Library, Corey Hall, Mike Morgan and Carol Ford for the Primetime Reading Program. It was great to read and discuss books with our children and then gather with other families to further discuss them.

Mike, Carol and Corey were dynamic facilitators and group participation grew each week. It would be marvelous to see this program get funding to continue.
