Where: Homestead-Miami Speedway
When: 12:30 p.m. Sunday
Broadcast: TelevisionNBC-Ch. 26; RadioMotor Racing Network
Track: 112-mile oval
Last year's winner: Tony Stewart
What it takes to win: The track's configuration is identical to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The only difference is, the speedway is a mile shorter. But like Indy, two longer straightaways, two short-shoots and four 90-degree, flat-banked corners don't add up to a competitive raceway. Passing is difficult because every car will try to find a place in traffic along the inside groove. Drivers who excel on road courses should run well at Homestead because it takes a road course set up to get off the corners.
Morris News Service pick: Jeff Burton
Other drivers to watch: Tony, Jeff Gordon, Bobby Labonte, Ricky Rudd and Rusty Wallace
