Holly L. Shaffer and Bryan M. Csiga formally of Kenai will be married Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at Cahal Pech Archaeological Site, an ancient Mayan ruin in Belize.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Boyd and Susan Shaffer of San Ignacio, Belize, formerly of Kenai. She is a 1994 graduate of Kenai Central High School. Holly attended University of Alaska Anchorage and University College Galway in Galway, Ireland. She is an animal caretaker and the community education floor presentation coordinator at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle.
The groom-to-be is the son of John and Beth Mishko of Kenai and Alex and Theresa Csiga of Lakeland, N.Y. He is a 1993 graduate of Kenai Central High School. Bryan attended Kenai Peninsula College and University of Alaska Anchorage and recently received his certificate as a licensed massage therapist from Ashmead College in Seattle, where he has opened a private practice.
The couple will reside in the Ballard district of Seattle.
