Kaleidoscope School of Arts and Science

Posted: Wednesday, November 10, 2004

The life skill for the week is common sense to use good judgment.

Today is picture retakes. If your child needs a picture retaken, send in the original packet. The pictures will be delivered next week.

There is no school Thursday and Friday.

Snow has arrived. Parents are reminded to send their child to school prepared to go outside for recess unless its colder than -10 degrees. Along with a warm coat, include snow boots, gloves and a hat.

Dec. 7 is the Christmas program. Mrs. Larson needs volunteers for painting signs, sewing Santa hats and helping to put up scenery. Call her if you are able to help.

Mrs. Shelden's and Mrs. Stroh's classes began a unit on details. The students are looking at details in artwork, books, science and math measurements.

The second-graders are reviewing place value and telling time.

The third-graders learned measurement using inches and centimeters.

Thank you to all parents who attended conferences.
