Ninilchik Schools

Ludy Link won the split the pot raffle that was held by the wrestling team. The wrestlers and their coach, Kevin Zimmerman, would like to thank everyone who bought tickets for supporting the program.

The seventh-graders were successful with their fund-raising effort, raising $200 for hurricane victims. The class continues to do activities with Mrs. Boll's kindergarten through third-grade class.

The elementary teachers would like to remind parents to be sure their children are dressed properly for the cold weather. If your child is missing shoes or clothing, the lost and found closet is full of items. Three bags of shoes and clothing have accumulated so far this year.

The Inlet Winds concert band from Homer will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 20 at the school. Admission is free and everyone is encouraged to attend.

The school would like to thank the Traditional Council for purchasing the new water slide. It has been installed.

Dates to remember:

Today and Thursday The cheerleaders' state competition at Fort Richardson;

Thursday and Friday No school for students;

Friday and Saturday Volleyball tournament at Nikolaevsk; and

Tuesday Junior high basketball at Nikolaevsk.
