Cooking up a new kitchen

Kelly Keating, Kurt Rentfro and Steve Albers discus blueprints in the kitchen at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center as Larry Saito and Mark Vlahovich take measurements for tiling Wednesday afternoon. Workers are expanding the kitchen by about 25 percent. For now, meals are cooked at the American Legion post and are driven to the center for serving. Center director Rachael Craig said they hope work will be complete around the first of next month.
