Mr. Brewer was born July 29, 1953, in Moscow, Idaho, to Marilyn and Jesse Brewer.
"Jesse was a legend of the Northside, where he grew up until he entered the Marine Corps. He worked at Champion Building Products in Missoula until moving to Alaska where he worked as a diesel mechanic in Prudoe Bay. Jesse loved family, fishing and hunting," his family said. "He leaves behind the light of his eye, his grandson, Casey and the love of his life, Cathy Foondle," his family said.
Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Lon and Edith Strong; and nephew, Adam.
He is survived by his children, Jay (Kami), Patrick, Jessica, Michael and Charlene.; another grandchild, Hazel; mother, Marilyn; and Phil Hege, whom raised the kids from a young age; brothers, Dennis (Marie) Newman, Harry (Kelly), Jack (Joan), Eddy (Shannon) and Jim (Julie); and sisters, Mary (Darvel) Tripp, Sally (Don) Hathaway, Cindy (Norm); several nieces and nephews; and two aunts.
"Jesse, we will always miss you and never forget you. We know you will be one of our many guardian angels. We will always love you," his family said. "Semper Fi!"
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that acquaintances do a kind deed for someone and think of Jesse while doing so.
