Snowstorm predicted for Southcentral Alaska

The National Weather Service has issued a warning of significant snowfall and potential travel hazards throughout Southcentral Alaska beginning tonight.

A low pressure system is expected to move into Prince William Sound from the Gulf of Alaska, bringing the potential for 3 to 6 inches of snow in lower elevations and up to 12 inches in mountain passes through Wednesday evening.
