Community ping pong continues

Public ping pong is held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Redoubt Elementary School. For more information, call 262-7899.

Comedian set to entertain

Nationally known comedian Tig Notaro will be performing at Kenai Peninsula College at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Ward Building. The opening musical act will be the Pepper Shakers. General admission is $10 or $5 with a valid student ID. For more information, call Dave Atcheson at 262-0346.

Cheerleaders sought

The Kenai River Brown Bears looking for high school students to join its cheer squad. Interested students may call 398-7875.

Immunization clinics canceled

Kenai Public Health Center will not have its regularly scheduled walk-in immunization clinics Monday and Nov. 18 or at the Soldotna Cottonwood Clinic on Nov. 19 due to H1N1 mass dispensing clinics in schools.
