Fun Fest will be Friday. Students who have signed up can attend. Many activities have been planned. All proceeds will go toward funding the Artist in the Schools program.
Mr. Kircher's fourth- and fifth-graders are studying minerals as part of the science curriculum and are working to understand the properties of luster, streak, hardness, cleavage and color as they relate to mineral identification.
Mrs. Meyer's sixth-graders began working on projects designed to support the two themes of the book they are reading. Students chose one of four projects and will work cooperatively to complete these assessments of their language arts learning.
There is an American in Miniature display done by Ms. Bobek's fifth-grade as part of their social studies. Students selected American landmarks, produced them in miniature and then gave a report.
