In Christlight, students are studying the story of Joseph meeting his brothers years after they sold him into slavery.

The kindergartners quickly are catching on to the concept of reading, have learned 20 phonograms and are putting their new knowledge to use by learning to read books. The class also is finishing a unit on the five senses and will have a popcorn party in which they will test their senses.

Mrs. Werth's math classes are learning the world of money. The students are counting and learning to make change. In science, students are continuing the in-depth look at matter.

The staff congratulates Ryan Burrow for mastering his math facts this week.
