November the eleventh is the day we all observe
the soldier who wore a uniform and chose to serve.
It's the day set aside to honor and show respect;
for each veteran's service; it's a time to reflect.
It's time to remember the brave and gallant ones,
our nation's children; faithful daughters and sons.
God bless each one, for your loyalty to this land;
I'm proud of your commitment, for taking a stand.
A veteran's the reason we've always come through;
they kept our flag flying it's red, white, and blue.
It's beauty is simple, and behind is a vet's story,
of how each one served and fought for Old Glory.
I want to say thanks, from the depth of my heart,
for your faithful service, and for doing your part.
Many thanks for your devotion, near and far away;
I'm proud to give honor to you, this Veteran's Day.
And so not to leave out anyone who has credit due.
You're as important as those who went before you.
You're the soldiers who are serving America today.
Thank-you also for your allegiance to our US of A.
