Nikiski teen-ager killed in rollover

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A teen-ager from Nikiski was killed over the weekend in a vehicle rollover on the Sterling Highway.

Robyne Johnson, 16, died Saturday after being thrown from a car near Mile 74.5, the Alaska State Troopers said.

Nigel Penhale, 17, also from Nikiski, was driving his 1987 Pontiac Grand-Am north when he lost control, striking an embankment, troopers said.

The car flipped, throwing Johnson out. She died at the scene, troopers said.
