Community first aid class held

The American Red Cross will offer a community first aid and CPR class Wednesday and Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Building on Kalifornsky Beach Road.

The course includes adult, infant and child CPR. The course meets all workplace and OSHA requirements. Preregistration is required. For more information, call 262-4541.

Chamber meeting slated

The Kenai Chamber of Commerce will hold its luncheon meeting at noon Wednesday at Paradisos Restaurant in Kenai. The speaker will be Dave Arnsdorf, president of the Alaska Manufacturer's Association. For more information, call 283-7989. The meeting is open to the public.

Service area board to meet

The Kenai Peninsula Hospital Service Area Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Iliamna Room at Central Peninsula General Hospital.

Board of directors meeting planned

The board of directors meeting for the Central Emergency Services area is planned for 7 p.m. Thursday at Station No. 4 at Mile 13.5 of Kalifornsky Beach Road. The regular agenda items and reports will be discussed.

Open house scheduled

The Kenai Peninsula Small Business Development Center will hold an open house Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The purpose of the open house is to introduce new and prospective business owners to the SBDC's new facilities, including the small resource library. The meeting is open to the public.

Flu shots offered in Nikiski

The Nikiski Senior Center will offer flu shots Friday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Suggested donation is $6. For more information or to sign up, call 776-7654.

Mexican feast planned

La Societe de Femme will sponsor a Mexican dinner at 7 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Post No. 20 in Kenai. The cost is $9.

KDLL meeting slated

KDLL's monthly board meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the KDLL studio in the Economic Development District Building on the Kenai Spur Highway north of Kenai. The meeting is open to the public.
