Exhibition accepting Alaska photographs
The Kenai Peninsula Photographers Guild is sponsoring a photography exhibit called "Lights, Camera, Alaska," in December and January at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center.
Photographers can submit up to three images on any subject matter or relationship to Alaska in any photographical media. There is a $20 exhibition fee for a photograph to appear in the show.
The guild will hold a reception at 7 p.m. Tuesday for the "AlaskaWild/01" juried photography show on display at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center through Wednesday. The guild will critique the show and offer photography tips.
After the reception the guild will hold a meeting about its upcoming exhibition. Peninsula residents who would like to participate in the exhibition are encouraged to attend the meeting. Both the reception and meeting are free and open to the public. For more information, contact Ricky Gease at 283-1991.
