"Chris touched many lives. She was best remembered for her spirit, sense of humor and her concern for others. She could always be counted on to help anyone in need. Those that became her friends knew she would always be ready to help in any way possible. Those that knew her best will remember her love for nature, butterflies and animals. Over the years she travelled, made friends wherever she went and left happy memories with the people she loved. She was a giving and caring person who loved many people and was loved in return. She was a very down to earth person who squeezed every drop out of life," wrote her family.
Ms. Hausotter was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, David W. Allen of Medford, Ore.; grandson, Jesse W. Allen of Post Falls, Idaho; and granddaughter, Savannah Marie Allen of Post Falls.
