KPHA PeeWee B goes 4-0 on weekend

The Kenai Peninsula Hockey Association PeeWee B team went 4-0 this weekend in games in Soldotna and Kenai.

KPHA topped the Fairbanks Alaska Grizzlies 4-1, with goalie William Granger making 11 saves. Tyler Jensen had two goals, while Brad Duwe and Eric Johnson also had goals. Duwe had three assists, while Jensen added the other assist.

KPHA then topped the Eagle River Mustangs 3-2. Keegan Remsen had 13 saves, while Duwe, Jensen and Zack Sonnichsen had goals. Eric Johnson had two assists, while Brady Perkins, Duwe, Zack Waters and Jenna Redford added assists.

KPHA then topped Eagle River by another 3-2 score, with Granger getting 11 saves. Waters had two goals, while Matt Silver added another goal. Sean Endsley had two assists, while Morgan Cunningham and Matt Boulette added assists.

KPHA completed the weekend with a 5-1 victory over Eagle River, with Remsen collecting 12 saves. Duwe had two goals, while Boulette, Johnson and Cunningham added goals. Brad Duwe had two assists, while Remsen, Endsley, Perkins and Redford added assists.
