Spiritual Renewal Week planned

The Rev. Joe Purcell is the featured guest at Soldotna First Assembly for Spiritual Renewal Week. Purcell will minister at 7 p.m. today and Saturday and at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Purcell began his career as a lawyer and practiced for several years in Alaska before answering God's call to become a missionary. He is currently ministering in Siberia.

SolFirst is next to The Salvation Army thrift store on the Kenai Spur Highway.

Workshop planned

A Focus workshop discussing compassion and communication will be held Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kenai Christian Church. The speaker will be Patty McDonald.

Craft sale scheduled No.v 24, 25

Soldotna United Methodist Church is holding its annual 10,000 Villages Sale of handmade crafts from developing countries. This nonprofit mission outreach will be held Nov. 24 and 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 262-5776.
