ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Two light earthquakes struck in the Interior.
Both quakes had a preliminary magnitude of 4.0, according to the Alaska Earthquake Information Center. There were no reports of injury or damage.
One of the quakes occurred at 1:05 p.m. Friday, 33 miles east of Denali National Park. It was about a mile deep.
An earlier quake occurred at 11:15 p.m. Thursday about 40 east miles of the Denali Park entrance. It was four miles deep and was felt as far away as Fairbanks.
The earthquake information center said the temblor was an aftershock of the 7.9 earthquake that struck the Interior Nov. 3.
