Parks and rec commissioner should have right to disagree with council

Posted: Monday, November 17, 2003

Hmmm, let me see. A man that has served on the Kenai Parks and Recreation Commission for about 25 years (Dick Hultberg) disagrees with the council and the mayor so he gets a notice he should resign.

I thought a commissioner had the right to express his opinion even if it was not popular with said council, but I guess not.

Hang in there, Dick, and see if they fire you. They sure will look unappreciative and foolish!
