Mrs. Tobin's class is preparing for its first visit with their senior citizen friends at the Forget-Me-Not Center on Friday. The students will share original poems and songs. They are looking forward to several visits over this school year to build friendships beyond the borders of age.

Mr. Daniel's class is studying the Southwest region of the United States. The class is working online, communicating with kids their age from schools across the country in a program called the U.S. Regions Forum. It's a forum where students respond to geography questions and correspond with students in other states across the country.

Mrs. Furlong's class has been studying the continent of Europe. At 1 p.m. Tuesday the class will have a country fair. Each corner of the room will be transformed by food, music, dress and pictures into a special country in Europe. Parents are encouraged to attend and share a unique slice of Europe.
