Wings Christian Academy

Immanuel Baptist Church had its annual Mission Conference last week. Several students contributed by singing.

The Lower Learning Center students have continued to work on their space study. They finished their study of the rocky planets by performing a "Rocky Planet Weather Report" on their own "radio station" K-PEN Planetary Educational Network.

The junior-high basketball teams will have an away game Thursday against Cornerstone Christian School. The girls game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. The boys game will follow.

The volleyball team had its last practice Tuesday. It will play an away game against Banner on Thursday in Anchorage at 1:30 p.m. The school will participate in the fourth annual BEMA Volleyball Tournament. The tournament will be held in Anchorage and begin at 1:30 p.m.

The students already have begun to practice for this year's Christmas program, which will be preformed Dec. 17. It is titled "Sing a Song of Christmas." The costumes for the kindergarten class need to be finished by Dec. 5.

Alisha Thompson entered the 1,000's club.

The office of the week trophy was given to Cassie Sutton.

Amy Wood won the most interesting fact contest. Her winning fact was that there are 2,000 times more atoms in one glass of water than there are glasses of water in the sea.
