Cantata choir practice
The Peninsula Grace Brethren Church Christmas Cantata Choir practices are held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday through Dec. 17 at the church. Cantata performances will be held Dec. 17 and 18 at the church. Interested community members can preview music at www.wordmusic.com/Christmas and then by clicking on “Come Let US Adore Him.”
Choir members will be required to pay $10 to help cover the cost of music and the accompaniment DVD. For more information, call Dan Thornton at 262-6442.
Youth rally set to go
The Kenai New Life Assembly of God, Engage Youth Movement will host a youth Reality Night from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at 209 Princess St. across the Kenai Central High School and the Challenger Learning Center of Alaska.
Planned activities will include a live band, inflatable boxing, pizza, pop, door prizes and an arm wrestling tournament. Youth in grades seven through 12 in the Sterling, Soldotna, Kenai, Nikiski and Kasilof areas are eligible to attend. Admission is $5 per person at the door.

Clothes Quarters open
Clothes Quarters, in the back of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church parking lot at 225 S. Spruce St. in Kenai, will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 19 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through November, except for Thanksgiving Day.

Christmas brunch set
Kenai Aglow, a Community Lighthouse for Women will hold a women’s Christmas brunch at 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Challenger Center of Alaska in Kenai.
