School to host financial aid night
Soldotna High School will host a financial aid night at 7 today in the school library. Carrie Burford, financial aid director at Kenai Peninsula College, and Karen Turner, school liaison for the Alaska Commission on Post-secondary Education, will present information on financial aid, grants, loans, scholarship opportunities and the FAFSA form, and the Western Undergraduate Exchange program. SoHi juniors, seniors and their parents are invited to attend.
Love INC to celebrate accomplishments
The Love INC Board of Directors will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. today at the Kenai Merit Inn. The meeting will celebrate the last 15 years of accomplishments and feature guest speaker, Robert Odom, Love INC national president from Minneapolis. For more information, call 283-5252.

Domestic violence group to meet

Community school sponsors fair
The Kids Make-It-and-Take-It Craft Fair will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Soldotna Middle School, 426 W. Redoubt Ave., Soldotna, in the multipurpose room. Children in kindergarten through sixth grade pay no fee. The fair is sponsored in part by the Soldotna High School National Honor Society. Center to hold dance

Residents warned about snow hazards
The Kenai Peninsula Borough reminds residents that no person may push or otherwise deposit snow or ice onto a roadway in a manner or in quantities that may constitute a hazard to snow removal equipment or other traffic.
Parents are asked to inform children of the danger of playing in snow piles and berms near roadways. Operators of heavy equipment used in snow removal may have difficulty seeing children.
