KPHA Squirt B team goes 2-2 in Fairbanks

The Kenai Peninsula Hockey Association Squirt B team had a 2-2 record in Fairbanks this past weekend.

KPHA started out with a 2-0 loss to Fairbanks Northern Lights. William Granger had 22 saves in the loss.

KPHA came back with a 6-0 win over the NAHA Grizzlies. Granger had the shutout in the victory. Sean Endsley had a hat trick on assists by Jacob Iverson, Zack Sonnichsen, Zack Zulkanycz and Matt Boulette. Other goals came from Sonnichsen, on an assist by Dagen Walton, Boulette and Boulette on an assist by Endsley.

In their next game, KPHA lost to Fairbanks Northern Lights 5-4. Granger had 17 saves in that game. Endsley and Boulette each had two goals in the contest. Assists came from Zack Weisz, Tyler Cue, Zulkanycz, Boulette, Endsley and twice from Sonnichsen.

KPHA ended up the trip with a with a 5-0 victory over the NAHA Grizzlies. Granger recorded the shutout in the victory. Goals came from Cue, Endsley, Zulkanycz, Sonnichsen and Walton. Assists were from Sonnichsen, Josh Kerkvliet, Cue, Hali Carter, Endsley and Weisz.
