Kerry O'Brien and Adam Kunkel
Kerry Shea O’Brien and Adam Thomas Kunkel of Nikiski were married Saturday, July 8, 2006, at the Nikiski Senior Citizens Center. The Rev. Henry Haney of Nikiski officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Roberta O’Brien of Nikiski. She attended school and was home-schooled in Nikiski. She works at the Auto Wash Express in Kenai. She wore a white chiffon wedding gown and carried a bouquet of ivory and pink roses made by her sister, Tara.
The maid of honor was Amanda Holliday. The bridesmaids were her sisters, Tara Harris and Traci O’Brien. They all wore long pink gowns and carried ivory and pink rose bouquets made by Tara. The flower girls were Alexus Miller and Ashley Lampley.
The groom is the son of Thomas and Joyce Kunkel of Nikiski. He attended school and was home-schooled in Nikiski. He works at Denali Log Homes. He wore a black tux and silver tie. His best man was Eric Parnell. His groomsmen were Jesse Noel and J.T. Harris. The ring bearers were the bride’s nephews, Brendan and Justin Harris.
A reception followed the ceremony at the senior center. They couple will live in Nikiski, where they are building their home.
