Representatives from the Workforce Development Center at Kenai Central High School, from left, Walt Ward, career and technical education coordinator, Mike Boyle and Steve Schoessler, instructors, are recognized by Alaska Division of Forestry's Sharon Roesch for directing 13 students in a construction academy project to build a 20-by-20 building for forestry last summer. The building has been moved to the peninsula fairgrounds in Ninilchik where foresters will use it during the annual fair. Ward said it also could be used as a south peninsula headquarters in the event of a wildfire such as last summer's Caribou Hills fire.
