FAIRBANKS (AP) -- A woman was arrested after threatening Fairbanks Memorial Hospital medical staff, just two months after she shot herself in the chest in front of the hospital, Fairbanks police said.
T.C. Greywolf was charged Friday with third-degree assault for allegedly threatening to kill a hospital doctor, according to a criminal complaint.
Fairbanks Police Lt. Dave Kendrick said Greywolf began to make the threats when she was hospitalized Thursday. The hospital has a criminal trespass order preventing Greywolf from being on hospital grounds unless she is a patient.
In the first incident Sept. 18, police waited 30 minutes while she held a gun to her chest outside the hospital emergency room. This time, police arrested Greywolf before the situation escalated, Kendrick said.
''We're trying to prevent any additional escalation,'' he said.
