Christmas Comes to Kenai schedule of events

11:30 a.m.

Santa arrives via fire truck at the Kenai Chamber of Commerce Cabin to visit with children. The first 100 children to visit Santa will receive complimentary movie passes to see" Monsters Inc." and reindeer antler headbands. All children will receive a complimentary photo with Santa, hot chocolate and cookies

Complimentary horse-dawn carriage rides through Old Town Kenai starting at the chamber cabin.

5 p.m.

Ceremonial lighting of the Village of Lights with Kenai Mayor John Williams at Leif Hansen Memorial Park.

6 p.m.

Electric light parade, beginning at Paradisos on Frontage Road and ending at the park behind Louie's.

6:30 p.m.

Official lighting of the Christmas tree and bonfire. A Celebration Choir from Peninsula Grace Brethren Church will lead spectators in Christmas carols.

7 p.m.

Grand finale fireworks display.
