Schools closed for holiday
Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Challenger mission planned
The Challenger Learning Center of Alaska in Kenai will have a public mission Saturday at 9 a.m. It will be a voyage to Mars and back in one morning. The fee is $25. The mission is open to sixth-grade students and older. If you bring a friend, you will receive a special fee of "two for $40." Advanced registration is required.
