FAIRBANKS (AP) -- It wasn't a big haul, but Fairbanks police quickly nabbed a suspect accused in a robbery that netted just $2 and change.
Lincoln D. Roberts, 52, was arrested shortly after a witness told police he saw Roberts and 28-year-old Michael Frank rob Donald Putugook while he was walking in Fairbanks at about 2 a.m., according to a criminal complaint.
The witness told police Roberts grabbed Putugook from behind and twisted his arm while Frank rifled through his pockets. Officers said Putugook's clothes were torn and he was scratched in the incident.
Police said Putugook knew Frank, but didn't know Roberts. Police have issued an arrest warrant for Frank.
Roberts was charged with second-degree robbery and fourth-degree theft.
