Fund-raiser’s success a lesson worth noting

Posted: Wednesday, November 23, 2005

On Nov. 10, Kalifornsky Beach Elementary School held its major fund-raiser. Students, staff, parents and community members had a fun-filled evening.

The success of the dinner and auction was due to several factors: Sandy Cyr, Terri Carter and Dea Leslie put in countless hours; our businesses located in the K-Beach community — Short Stop, Twin Cities Veterinary, Karlene’s Acupuncture and more; Dale Dolifka, Safeway, Era Aviation, Grant Aviation, restaurants and our many businesses located throughout the peninsula; teachers, parents and PTA members, who not only worked the event, but also made donations.

We thank you for your generous donations and support. Our community has such a warm heart. It truly amazes me at the good fortune we have in living in such a caring community, where people do not hesitate to assist our schools.

Thank you for your ongoing support. Our staff and faculty appreciate all you have helped us accomplish.
