The Great Alaska Council, Boy Scouts of America Tustumena District will be holding its District Committee meeting on Dec. 2, 6 p.m., at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association. The Soldotna High School Child Development course is looking for children ages 2-5 for their free day care. The dates are Thursday, Dec. 9, and Friday, Dec. 10, from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. Snacks, games, and activities will be included. Children must be potty trained. The Kenai Peninsula Brewing and Tasting Society will be meeting monthly, on the first Wednesday of each month. The American Legion Auxillary Unit 20 will host a home retail bazaar at the legion hall, 902 Cook Ave, in Kenai, on Friday, Nov. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
